THE TEAM CREZIO METHODOLOGY
A familiar rhythm helps students know what to expect. Teaching moves from clear demonstrations to supported practice and reflection.
Welcome the group, revisit expectations and warm up.
Break movements into manageable steps and explain the key points.
Learn with a partner, ask questions and receive feedback.
Review learning, recognise effort and prepare for the next lesson.
The teaching materials emphasise respecting limits, communicating discomfort and stopping when a partner taps. Activities are introduced progressively and adapted by the coach.
JIU-JITSU · GRAPPLING · WRESTLING
When students move countries, their learning goes with them. Our approach connects these disciplines, welcoming those who arrive and supporting those who move on.

ON AND BEYOND THE MAT
At the end of every term, students, coaches and families come together for our championship and belt and stripe assessments. It is a time to put learning into practice, recognise effort and celebrate progress.
The materials include skills checklists and achievement certificates. Coaches assess readiness and learning; belt progression follows an individual evaluation.
AT THE END OF EVERY TERM
A championship, belt and stripe assessments, and time to look back at the progress made. The end of term is part of learning.
At the end of every school term, we hold a championship where students put their learning into practice. Respecting an opponent, handling the result and recognising effort are part of the experience.
The end of term also includes belt and stripe assessments. Coaches review each student’s technique, readiness and conduct, supported by the methodology’s assessment checklists.
Students, coaches and families share this milestone. The team and each school communicate dates, the event format and participation arrangements.
Promotion is individual: attending the event or winning a match does not guarantee a new belt or stripe. Progression depends on the coach’s assessment.

Our school programme began at The British College of Brazil, where we work with children and teens across both campuses. We teach Jiu-Jitsu in Portuguese and English, with lesson language and family communication agreed with each school.
Space, mats, timetable, group size, supervision and the school’s procedures are discussed before launch. The proposal defines responsibilities for the school and the coaching team.
Fees, the period covered, uniform requirements and payment arrangements are confirmed for each school and term. Contact Eduardo for the current information for your campus.
No. Every term includes belt and stripe assessments, but promotion is individual. Coaches assess technique, readiness and conduct. Taking part in the championship or winning a match does not guarantee promotion.
